Brittany is the best-selling author of “INFLUENCER: Building Your Personal Brand In The Age Of Social Media” and the co-founder & Chief Relationship Officer at CARBON AUGUST, an influencer development platform serving creators, performers, and entrepreneurs. In this episode she talks about one of the biggest (and most common) mistakes influencers make when negotiating with brands. And how this mistake prompted Brittany to write her book, “INFLUENCER.” We also get into some of the “tricky” legal terms like exclusivity and usage. How to navigate these terms when negotiating, and how to deal with brands that expect the MOST but want to pay you pennies ($12 for a YouTube Video?? Insane.)
